week's random

T G I F
 eeerrr??? whatever.

Hope everyone has had a great week and that the weekend is off to a good start!

My week was amazing.
I started attending a Bible study, job hunted (that part isn’t so amazing but still), won a National Championship, slept good, and hung out with fabulous friends.

And I am nose-deep in my Jeff Ashton book – the prosecutor in the Casey Anthony trial.  Yes, I’m still obsessed.  It was a real-life soap opera happening in my neck of the woods… don’t judge me.

Speaking of Soap Operas… who is sad about them ending?  My mother is mourning One Life To Live as it goes off the air afer 47 years today.  We’ll finally have space on the DVR now.

I finally got my sushi fix with Susan last night.  This craving was hindering my day-to-day functioning because it had gotten so bad.  Sushi Pop never fails me.  Wine, sushi, and best friend time is never overrated.
We even went back to her townhouse to watch the pilot episode of The Wonder Years.  It was a perfect Thursday night out.

On Wednesday, I went to a bible study at Haley and Simeon Castille’s house.  She’s the founder of I am Mermaid, llc. And one of my favorite new friends! She is from Central Florida, but married Simeon – a former Bama & Minnesota Vikings football player.  God brought them back to the Orlando area this past year and they are so inspiring as they are reverent in doing God’s work.  It was a really nice bible study and I loved the group, I look forward to going back.

Other things:
I miss Grayson baby. Bad.
I miss Sheldawg. Bad.
I need a job.  Bad.

Pray for me as I look to where God’s opportunities are for me this year.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS WEEKEND?
Do Tell!

the little things

I’m a firm believer in the little things. This week I’m thankful for these little things that kept me going:
-baking cookies

-a good Sunday sermon
-wine and gossip with momma
-a daily picture of “boogie” (grayson)

-sweet and sincere messages from Sheldon
-hot tea, wine, and catching up with michabella

-snuggle sessions with mildred jean

…ahh, the good life! J

Roll Tide!

(both graphics via jesslynamber)

I'm so thankful that God made me a BAMA girl.
I can't wait for the rematches of all rematches tonight where I get to watch my school take on a conference rival in the BCS Championship game.

I remember Pasadena like it was yesterday... being there to see the Crimson Tide clench Title #13.  Tonight, in New Orleans, we battle for #14!
It is something SPECIAL to be a Bama girl.

Roll Tide!
Beat LSU!

Go visit jesslynamber.blogspot.com and give her a Roll Tide!
I hope she doesn't hate me for using her purty graphics!
love her. xo

belated resolution

Well, this year is off to a mighty fine start. I just returned to "real life" from Charlotte where I rang in the New Year with Sheldon and his family.

So in a way, I am just now starting my blank slate. I wasn't in my own structure until this afternoon. Hopefully, I can be a better blogger in 2012.  I'm going to try.

I want a new blog design.

I'm excited about 2012. I've never felt better in my entire life... I just know God is going to do amazing things in my life just as He did in 2011.  I really am SO blessed!

Excited to begin my new year - and maybe a litte belated - with a more regular blog routine.  So keep your fingers crossed for me not to give up on that resolution!

But I said it. It's out there now so you have to hold me to it.  Peace & Love.

Millie & I wish you a Merry Christmas

Yes, I spelled her name wrong...
oopsie ;)

Peace & Love,
Baily & Millie*

(I forgot the "i" on the card. Ha!)

Did you know?

MERRY CHRISTMAS

peace and love
to you and yours

Did you know that chopping down the Christmas tree represents the death of Christ and putting it back up again represents the resurrection of Christ. Did you know that the wreaths we hang are never ending circles, that represents eternity? Candy canes were made to look like shepherds hooks, also shaped for J and the colors red for Jesus' blood and white for purity. The gifts, represent the 3 gifts the wisemen brought for Jesus. So when you are running around trying to get the "Perfect Gift", stop yourself take a deep breathe and remember we have been given the perfect gift, Jesus Christ was given to us to save us now and give us eternal life with Him forever.

playing catchup like always

I am so lucky.

To have such a wonderful family.

And great friends who already are family.

I got to spend the past couple of days visiting family in NC (on a less-than-48-hour-mad-dash of a trip) and then kicking back with good friends (who also happen to be loverboy's family members).

Glad I got to see family and I'm glad I got to bond with Carlie & Toni. That's Sheldon's cousin and aunt.

Ooh! And I booked my flight to Charlotte for New Years!! Can't wait to ring in 2012 with that kiss! :)

Hopefully I can get my blogging spirit back. I need a pep rally...!

Peace & Love

mood negative

Very pissed right now. Just blogged my heart out and the my wrist did some accidental magic trick on my keyboard and in one instant the entire blog was highlighted, deleted, and auto-saved.

Checked my drafts and my hour-long post said this

"r"

Awesome. Perfect. Thank God it's "Wine Down Wednesday" and I have plans with friends.

We'll retry tomorrow. I hate the auto-save. The hell with it.
